All work and no play makes social media a dull boy, right? With applications becoming more and more popular across every platform, we though we’d share some of our favorites:
Twitter:
- We’ve previously listed a few of our favorites here, but we’ve come across another we really like: TweetBricks. A cool twist on an old game (it’s basically Tetris) but customizable to your friends, followers, mentions, hashtags, another user, or everyone. Try not getting addicted to this one.
Facebook:
- It’s currently the most popular application on Facebook, with more than 12 million daily active users (just about all of the Twitterverse, to put it in perspective). We resisted for a while, but we’ve finally started playing FarmVille. It’s somewhat hypnotic, as only so much playing can be done at one time and it’s a bit repetitive, but yet we keep logging back in each day to play.
Chrome:
- We actually have yet to try this one, but Mashable has posted about being able to play old Nintendo games on Chrome. We’ve tried emulators before, but if it really runs 10 times faster in Chrome like Mashable says, they might have some new converts.
What’s your favorite social media-related game or application?
